Upon entering the Alaska State Fair, my husband noticed a 30' rock climbing wall
and sent the girls right on up. "Be careful!" I yelled.
Next, he bought them lunch . . .
Corn dogs and cotton candy. "Gross! Don't get ketchup on your shirt!" I shrieked.
My husband is delighted by the fact that although they are young, our daughters are tall enough to meet the height requirement on a lot of the big rides. No carousel ponies for them. Oh, no. They wanted to go for a spin on the swinging chairs . . .
which seemed innocent enough, until . . .
one giddy girl decided to reach for her sister. The lady next to me did not appreciate
the damage to her ear drum when I bellowed, "Sit RIGHT!"
We spent the remainder of our day in the kiddie ride section so my heart palpitations could stabilize.

was she reaching because she was afraid or just wanted to be nearer to her sister?
They were both laughing—they thought it would be fun to hold hands while they were swinging!
I laughed at the first two pictures, but I gasped at the swings.......I feel for ya.....too bad for the ladies ear drums.....lol...what must be done must be done =]
Looks like some fun though. =] Our fair is at the end of September and I am awaiting my bloomin' onion.....and noooo let's not discuss the fat content please.....I just want to enjoy it.....lol
The rock wall and the ketchup wouldn't have fazed me. But hey, I'm totally with you on the swing thing.
I'm amazed you don't have to carry around nitro pills in your purse.
Hearing about ur twins always put a smile on ma face. I tell you their bravery apparently knows no bounds.
Absolutely no explanations needed Kim. Any mother will know instantly why you have laryngitis. The reaching in the swings would have had me on the ground in a puddle!!! Oh...my....gosh!!!!!
Your twins are adorable, but this last photo almost made me scream too. I totally get you.
