My 3-year-old daughter has never shown any interest in coloring . . . until yesterday, when she picked up a crayon and covered an entire picture with little circles. And then turned the page over and covered the back of the paper with little circles. Using her left hand! I don't know whether my little girl inherited this trait from my mom (who is the only leftie on either side of the family) or is a mirror twin. I'm just happy she's putting pen to paper.
Artistic genius or obsessive-compulsive syndrome?
Dinner last night: rotisserie chicken, rice, zucchini, strawberry shortcake

Well done, little leftie! Those are some serious circles!
And by the way, Mom, good luck teaching her how to print! My 3rd kid is a leftie, and I was at a complete loss when it came time to teach him to write. Unfortunately, being homeschoolers, I couldn't pass the buck along to anyone else.
your dinner sounds delicious!
That is SO cute...she's obsessed with circles. It could be worse....
One of my big twins started off being ambidextrous but after starting junior kindergarten, he started using his right hand more and now that's the hand he chooses to right with. So she may switch hands at some point...
Love the Circles! I am beginning to think "handedness" is semi-genetic (totally my opinion). In my husbands family...One G-ma was a leftie and the other was ambidexterous (but was more a leftie). So, of the 4 children (two boys & two girls) 3 of them are lefties. Now that my twins are eating finger food...they feed with their left hands. I love it! Good Luck!
Hi, new to your blog!
I found your blog via Muliples and More! Your daughters are precious! Nice meeting you - I love meeting other moms of multiples!!!
lefties are great! I hear they are creative, artistic, and compassionate.

Very geometric circles. My leftie didn't draw for a long time either, but now he writes better than my rightie.
One of my twins is lefty. But my husband and MIL is also left handed! Stopping in from MoM's blog to say Hi! Great circles that she was making!
Typical 3 year old learning to draw circles. She should transition into bigger circles adding eyes and limbs!
Nice Blog!!
Hi! Found you from the MoM's blog. Love your blog! And I'd love to take a trip to Alaska one day!

Aren't kids so weird? My 2 yo has been a rightie since the very beginning. Her 4 yo cousin, we're still not sure! He goes back and forth between them!
